Hello, does the modern farmhouse pendant, Bristol collection come in matte black or black finish of any kind?

Thank you for reaching out. The Bristol Collection does not come in a black finish although, we do have an Olde Bronze Finish that looks mostly black with a hint of brown. I've attached the link so you can check it out.

are these dimmeable?
Yes they are. This pendant, along with all the other fixtures in the Bristol collection, include standard "medium base" sockets (just like a standard lamp socket). This means you have myriad bulb options. If you use incandescent type bulbs, these will be dimmable on any dimmer switch. If you decide to purchase LED bulbs, just make sure they say "dimmable", and note that you may need to update your dimmer to one that supports LED dimming, but this is an easy $20 update.

What is the height of the glass only? 11 7/8 seems to be the total height of the glass part and the top metal part.
Hello, The glass shade dimensions are 7"H x 4.875"W.

I'm putting these together, and I'm having a hard time tightening the glass into the fixture so it doesn't move around. Any suggestions on how to do that without damaging the fixture?
You can use a rubber washer to tighten the fitting between the screw and glass.

What is the shape and dimension of the base that attaches to the ceiling?
Apologies this information wasn't immediately available. The canopy (ceiling plate) is 4.75" x 4.75" square, matching the design of the pendant itself. Noteworthy too, is that this fixture includes a single chain length at the top of the rods, which then connects to the canopy. This rods > chain > canopy system allows the pendant to dangle straight from any pitch in the ceiling (if you have sloped ceilings). Hope this helps!

Once an order is receieved, it takes 24-48 hours to ship. This item ships from our Georgia warehouse and would take 2-3 days of transit time to reach you in D.C.

PRE-PAID RETURN SHIPPING LABELS
We'll cover your return shipping costs! If your fixture has not been installed and is in unused condition, regardless of the reason for your return, simply send us a note at returns@urbanambiance.com and we'll reply back with a printable PDF return label. This label not only ensures the fixture makes it back to the right location, but covers all shipping costs too. Drop it off with UPS and you're done!
NO RESTOCKING FEES
Once the package arrives back at our warehouse and is inspected to confirm it has not been installed, is in good condition, and received within the 90-day return window, we'll issue you a FULL refund. For those items received outside of the 90-day return window, we will issue you store credit for the full amount you paid for the fixture. No restocking fees or any other nonsense. Its that simple.
