The below list summarizes these purchase protections, which we call our UA-Guaranteeâą.
We only sell UL & ETL Certified products
Safety should always be a top priority when purchasing a lighting fixture. Electricity is involved! With this in mind, all Urban Ambiance products have been certified safe by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and/or Intertek (ETL). Look for the holographic sticker within the fixture canopy for the testing agency, and then rest assured that your fixture was manufactured according to stringent testing standards for safety and longevity.

Secure, Encrypted PCI-Compliant Checkout
Our store is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This compliance extends by default to all pages including the shopping cart and checkout pages. We are very serious about securely hosting and processing your orders and have invested significant time and money to certify our solution is PCI compliant. Always Free-Shipping to Your Door
Whether you are buying one light or a hundred lights, there's no charge for shipping. If its a small single-light wall sconce or a giant 15-light chandelier, there's no charge for shipping. And even if you're 3000 miles away, there's STILL no charge for shipping. All shipments from our warehouse to your front door ship at no additional charge to you (lower 48 states only).
Delivered to You in 2-7 Days
With warehouses on both the east and west coast, and with an average time from order-received to order-shipped of under 24 hours, some of our customers see their order at their doorstep the very next day. Most of our customers receive their packages within 2-4 days from their time of order. And even in scenarios where packages must ship coast-to-coast, these customers can expect to receive their package within a week of their order date.
90-Day Return Decision Period
At Urban Ambiance, we recognize that many of our customers are ordering well in advance of their installation date. In fact, we applaud this. As such, it would not be fair to limit the return window to the industry standard of 30 days, so we tripled it! Should, say, 9 weeks after you ordered, your electrician is finally getting ready to install those pendants, and you suddenly discover that you need something larger or smaller, no problem! Just let us know, and we will arrange for your return.
Never Any Restocking Fees
Restocking fees are those nasty hidden costs to returns which some of our competitors enforce. Not at Urban Ambiance! All returns, regardless of the return reason, are treated as opportunities to impress you, the customer. We therefore do not charge any restocking fees (or any other fees under any other name) for returns. So long as it hasn't been installed (wherein wires get cut to your particular application) and you return it in the 90 day window, you'll get a full refund.
Always Free Return Shipping
Along side abolishing restocking fees, we also take the cost of shipping out of your return. No matter the return reason, upon contacting us to initiate a return, we will issue you pre-paid UPS shipping labels. These labels simply need to be printed, applied to the box, and dropped off at a UPS store (no need to wait in line). We'll take it from there!
Comprehensive 1-Year Product Warranty
In the extremely rare instance that one of our fixtures were to have an issue due to some type of defect, it would most likely show-up immediately (such as, say, a dead socket), and could simply be returned for a new fixture or full refund. But in the chance that an issue with the product emerges in the year after install, just let us know and we will initiate a replacement fixture to be sent at no cost to you.
Free Replacement Glass for the Life of the Fixture
As long as you own your home, and the fixture is still an active product in our line, should anything happen to the glass, we will replace it for you at no charge. This applies to any shipping-related damage and any accidental damage that may occur during install, or anytime thereafter. So if your light catches an errant baseball, don't worry, we got you!

FREE RETURNS
At Urban Ambiance, we understand that plans can change during home renovations. So if you find yourself in a position of needing to return an item... no problem! We'll make it easy on you with pre-paid return labels and no restocking fees!
PRE-PAID RETURN SHIPPING LABELS
We'll cover your return shipping costs! If your fixture has not been installed and is in unused condition, regardless of the reason for your return, simply send us a note at returns@urbanambiance.com and we'll reply back with a printable PDF return label. This label not only ensures the fixture makes it back to the right location, but covers all shipping costs too. Drop it off with UPS and you're done!
NO RESTOCKING FEES
Once the package arrives back at our warehouse and is inspected to confirm it has not been installed, is in good condition, and received within the 90-day return window, we'll issue you a FULL refund. For those items received outside of the 90-day return window, we will issue you store credit for the full amount you paid for the fixture. No restocking fees or any other nonsense. Its that simple.
90-DAY RETURN PERIOD
We recognize that many of our customers are purchasing fixtures well in advance of installation, and as such, we are pleased to offer a 90 day return window from delivery. So relax... You've got time. Should you need to return your fixture after the 90 days, we'll still honor the return, and provide store credit.Â
