The Durham Collection
Once a sleepy agricultural town, Durham, North Carolina, has seen three economic revolutions in its storied history. It started up with tobacco, where Durham’s harvests were world-renowned for their mild flavor. As regulation ultimately increased in the Tobacco industry, the Dukes shifted to electrical power generation. Finally, in a far-sighted move of the 1950s, Durham replaced its smoky coal-fired plants with a vision of research and sciences.
The Durham collection pays tribute to this with vintage and industrial chic designs, emphasized by rich, revitalized gold accents. Cast aluminum material with Architectural bronze finish and clear seeded glass light up the background beautifully.
