Sloped Ceiling Compatible Light Fixtures

Many Urban Ambiance chandeliers and pendants are sloped-ceiling compatible, even if they include fixed downrod stems. This is achieved by the addition of a short length of chain or a swivel joint at the very top of the rods, before feeding into the ceiling canopy. These design elements ensure that the fixture hangs vertically, even on sloped or uneven ceilings. This provides not only for the structural integrity of the fixture, but also a uniform lighting across the tabletop, countertop, or floor of the room, regardless of the angle of installation. While this feature was designed for attics, loft conversions, vaulted ceilings, and architectural spaces with unique angles, it can also prove useful on older homes with ceilings which appear flat, however aren't truly so.
